I'm Nathalie, a Scot in Paris.

I've spent my professional life trying to find that right balance between creativity, problem-solving, excitement and intellectual stimulation.

That's why I've chosen to start a new path and have begun a BSc (Hons) in Combined STEM (Engineering and Mathematics) with the Open University.

I have experience across a wealth of sectors. Before I was a TEFL-qualified Business English Teacher, I was a trained Sommelier, working in high-end restaurants in London and Paris. What does that have to do with engineering?
Well, everything.

In both worlds, success depends on precision, analysis, and understanding how separate elements interact to create a perfect whole—whether that’s a balanced wine or an efficient mechanical system. My time in hospitality taught me to think on my feet, adapt to unpredictable challenges, and communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Now, I’m channeling those same skills into solving technical problems, designing solutions, and exploring the elegant logic of mathematics and engineering.
